 Dagikhudo Dagiev is a Senior Research Associate in Shiʿi Studies Unit at the Department of Academic Research and Publications, The Institute of Ismaili Studies, London, where he teaches courses on the history of the Islamic world with a particular focus on the Ismaili history. He obtained his PhD in the Department of Political Science at University College London (UCL) and an MPhil in Eurasian Studies from Oxford University.

 He received his Bachelors Degree from Khorog State University (Tajikistan), Department of Humanities on Classical Tajik-Persian Literature and Languages. He is also recipient of scholarship from the Institute of Ismaili Studies where studied at the Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH 2000-2002) and recipient of the IIS scholarship for an MPhil Degree in Eurasian Studies from the University of Oxford (2002-2004).

 His research interests include Shiʿi and Central Asian studies, history of Islam with a particular focus on the social and political development of Ismailism. His recent publications: Monography, *Central Asian Ismailis: An Annotated Bibliography of Russian, Soviet, Tajik and Other Sources* (London: I.B. Tauris, 2022); edited volume with Carole Faucher, *Identity, History and Trans-Nationality in Central Asia: The Mountain Communities of Pamir* (London, 2019); Monography, *Regime Transition in Central Asia: Stateness, Nationalism and Political Change in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan* (London, 2014).
